Dandara is recruiting for a Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our Southern region. Initially, you will oversee development projects across this region, with an opportunity to expand your responsibilities to our upcoming Thams Valley sites.

About the Role Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Environment, you will play a key role in supporting our regional business and site teams. This position requires regular travel across sites, with accommodation and travel costs covered where necessary.
What you will do:
- Conducting site health, safety, and environmental inspections and advisory visits.
- Engaging with contractors to support and develop health and safety practices.
- Delivering internal health and safety training to employees.
- Providing CDM support and guidance to project teams.
- Supporting internal departments with health and safety advice.
- Contributing to monthly health and safety meetings with updates such as good and bad practice examples, inspection scores, and incident reports.
About You We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety professional who is passionate about maintaining and improving safety standards.
You will have:
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or IIRSM qualifications.
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within the construction or residential development sector.
- Strong knowledge of current H&S legislation.
- A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the construction or residential development industry.
